How it all started...
140 years ago the Houston, East & West Texas Railroad dedicated church sites for the new town in 1886, and the Baptists were given this land. Since that time FBC Timpson has been a pillar of this community and a shining light to those who need it. Though the church has been through many changes over the years, the mission has stayed the same and that’s to see the lost be found!

FBC TIMPSON is a place where community and Jesus are not separate. We worship together, we eat together, we spend time going after the mission of Jesus together!
Where we are headed...
We see a bright future here in TIMPSON, TX! FBC Timpson believes that we will see life change that will alter the landscape of our incredible community. We will see this through new salvation, the unchurched becoming churched, the addicted set free, and through intentional discipleship as we press forward into seeing new disciples join the kingdom of heaven!
